For Dreamwalkers

This project is a Wall Light Installation composed of an illuminating object in the form of pillow. By placing pillows on the walls of public spaces I change the usual place where the viewer can see the pillow but with retaining the classic shape bag linger I provoke the feelings related to the pillow and dreaming.

Therefore I placed sign or text on the pillow to suggest a path to spectator. For captivating messages I tend to use famous sentences such as I HAVE A DREAM to provoke quick connection with spectators by using something well known. Other possible phrases are LOST & FOUND, REFRESH, DREAMLAND, NOT THE ONLY ONE, ON FIRE and alike or well-known characters/signs such as arrows, pause, play, etc.
Blur effect of the words seen through sponge enhances an illusion of dreams.

Furthermore, I’m also interested in different approaches to perception, observation of the work of art. There are numerous ways to understand what Dreamwalker means. The way I take this phrase for the purpose of this installation is as lucid dreamers, persons who are able to take control of or actively determine the path of their own dreams in positive or negative way.
